Today I released version 0.6 of ProcAn with some major updates: The linux version now uses libproc instead of my implementation… this provides some minor improvement to scalability issues… but performance is generally not as good as the BSD implementation. It now tracks interesting users on all platforms. Plus I have fixed some more malloc issues. All-in-all I’m happy with the progress.
In other news we’ve been enjoying North Carolina so far and the job is going extremely well. We’re still trying to settle in and it is taking a little while. However, we are very happy here. We bought a really nice couch a couple of weeks ago… it is very different having a real brand-new couch instead of the old junk that we have had. Hopefully things will settle down real soon.
